There is a BluRay version of the 'A Night At The Opera' audio out there. I can't comment, however, on how much better it is than the DVD-A as it's the only BluRay disc I own and I don't have a BluRay player as yet..!
When I eventually get around to getting myself one, this will no doubt be the first thing I play. Purely to 'test out the speakers', of course..! :P

I have both.
The Lossless 24/96 5.1 mix on the Blu-Ray is way to loud.
The DVD Audio lossless 24/96 5.1 MLP is at a much more acceptable level.
In my opinion the DVD Audio is better in this respect.
Also, the 24/96 stereo LPCM on the Blu-Ray is from the 2011 re-masters, if you like that sort of thing.
