It's a studio overdub, as confirmed by the audience recording.  No need to get excited .. :-)

=((( But it looks like he sang it live because it's too quite to be overdubbed

I noticed it too, but a long time ago...but why would it be overdubbed unless he hit a sour note (which happens from time to time)?

There's not a chance Freddie could hit a high C on that night.  He could barely make the A.

That said, virtually every rock live album ever released has been overdubbed in some way, so it's not like Queen committed a crime here by patching up a half dozen things in a two hour show.

Overdubs or not, it's still a phenomenal concert.

Prob so, thanks to the fact that a lot of ROCK singers scream it out... BUT... it's gotta be noted that folks like Steven Tyler and Prince continue to pull off nearly ALL their shizz onstage live (Prince notably pulled EVERY dayumn thing off at his residency here in May (the Forum))

that's impressive as hell... i'm guessing it's drink and drugs that ruined it, cause a good friend of mine who grew up in the 70s said that Aerosmith was the WORST band he saw growing up.... they looked like they were drunk, PLAYED like they were drunk (slow and sloppy) and Steven Tyler was rambling through the set.

I guess doctor induced sobriety isn't such a bad thing in Steve's case.

Different dates, different shows i'm sure.

but aghh... Another Wembley Release.

Still would be cool to have both dates. That oughta do right, but like ppl said before... why wasn't this done previously?

I still wanna see a great version of Houston 77... so i can show my friend what a bad bunch of mofo's they really were. :)

=================

Freddie hit B4s on Dust (they're not overdubs)! He got close!

Even though his voice was rough on Wembley he at least tried and some good performances came out of Freddie from Wembley (In The Lap Of The Gods...Revisited, Another One Bites The Dust, Crazy Little Thing Called Love, and the Bohemian Rhapsody isn't that bad)!

To C-lebrity94:

I found higher full-voiced notes from Freddie on the Magic Tour! There's a D5 on Stockholm's Now I'm Here, and Freddie hits B4s, C5s, and C#5s left and right through out Stockholm and the first two Leiden gigs!

Best part is, that most of these notes sound clean (not barked or goofy-sounding)!

No chance...that was totally overdubbed! After listening to the bootleg, he may have wanted to hit that note, tried, and therefore could not make it happen. It's all live...cant have a perfect gig every night :)
