This has to be the first good release since Live At The Bowl, and consequently is the first release since Live At The Bowl I'm actually going to buy!

Not especially, no. It's only a gradual improvement over the "We Will Rock You" DVD, IMHO.

I hope you are talking ONLY about the sound, and not the fucked-up video track of the DVD

The sound is great of course, but it's not really a live DVD. The band is too much up front.

The WWRY DVD has the best picture quality.
