I think you should lighten up and stop taking stuff too seriously. Queen never took themselves too seriously and we're taking the piss out of themselves and eachother constantly. Plus the word "fan" is short for fanatic and i don't think anyone in their right mind should be labeled as such.

Now lets talk about how Freddie took it up the ass and why Brian loves bestiality.

^  Then you'll have to switch from your "right mind" to some other mind, because ....
News flash: You are a fanatic  - for what other thing can be said of someone with over 8000 posts? Is there
such a thing as QZ rehab?  You might want to look into it (if that last line of yours is any indication).

Under the guise of "taking the piss" out of things - people want carte blanche to inflict anything
that crosses their mind.  We don't use that phrase in the USA. Instead, we call the same thing "taking down a notch."
People don't do this in person as much as it's seen online or there would be fights in the streets. In person,
people are more careful with their words.

I can never decide what I like best about Treasure Moment...when they are not playing, or when they are not talking.

Which is the best thing about the internet!  You can win an argument without someone trying to punch you.  The implication of "you're hiding behind your keyboard and wouldn't say that to my face", is that the sad prick saying it is unable to account for themselves in any kind of dialogue, and has to work out their frustrations in a manner that belongs to those born 40000 B.C.

I dislike this whole environment most of all because I have been vocal enough 'in real life' to wind up in the situation where someone wants to hit me.  That's really their problem, but since what I'm saying is usually bang on the money, I'm willing to take a slap or two - and have done!  I just dislike the customary insinuation that somehow we're different 'in real life'.  There's such a thing as being prudent - say, not walking up to a gang of bikies and saying "do you guys take off your false beards before you suck dicks?".  But in terms of (allegedly) poor-taste jokes, or unpopular opinions - why the fuck should anyone have to keep those to themselves, on or off the internet?  Maybe I'm lucky (or unlucky) to have lived amongst a lot of plain spoken individuals who will say what they're thinking.  Meh.

I know some people who are extremely hard headed online, but quite nice in person.  So i think it CAN happen, but doesn't always.  I'm basically the same online as in real life though i think, and i know other people who are too.
