I really love the Buenoss Aires 1981 show... I have it on various dvd's , but can someone tell me what is the best version to download quality wise?
I'm a little confused with all the dvd's from this show...

I really love this show... great atmosphere, and band have a lot of fun, they are all in a good (normal) mood, the opposite mood they had when playing in Montreal... So I prefer this show..and with Need Your Loving Tonight and Fat Bottomed Girls...great versions of dragon attack,play the game, and crazy little thing called lover...
Great audience reaction, great light show, great settings (open air stadium) ... this one should have been released officially....
But where can i download the best dvd version of this gig ?

Actually it looks like the standard QTV version cropped to 16:9 (to get rid of the QTV logo) and with improved contrast, or ?

That version looks familiar to me. I think it's one of the SNOW Prod. Versions.

There's nothing "improved" about it, the contrast and colour are too high, it looks like they are simpson Characters. however the grain filters and RBG levels were done very well, probably the best I’ve seen snow do, but the guy still gets carried away with he filters, there's a restoration clip on his site showing step by step, he gets it looking really natural then cranks up all the Luminance and colour and ruins things.

Yes we can say so... snow looks bad, bad converting, bad sound, bad clipping... but damn it looks great , it sounds great... why play the grainy "best" uncropped, unclipped version.... beauty is in the eye of the beholder...

Well, I have to admit I was watching on a laptop ... the small resolution of the video and the small speakers were deceiving..
Indeed this is the crappy cropped Snow version, originally the common QTV version. Plenty of download links here:

I did watched it as well only on a laptop... though never thought how this will look like on 42" tv ,a lot worse I gues....
Though on the laptop the colours looked very nice, and the video quality...
Still this is my favourite queen film... Love this show... should have been a official... maybe in 2031 it will be doubled with the commoretive Montreal 1981 release...

I recently re- transferred my betamax copy of the complete channel 9 broadcast, it does not have the QTV logos
