Ha ha, funny enough. But not as great as Queen's original video is, you know.

if this had been Queen in this video MTV would ban it from the airwaves but coz its the Foo's MTV will instead give them loads of awards..

I want to wash my eyes out!!!
Nah - it was funny. Foo is coming here for a concert in November. My first Foo live! Perhaps the fans will shower them with bars of soap and sponges!

Judging by the comments from the 'Days of Our Lives' documentary, I don't think Brian and Roger were very fond of this song, but I guess now thanks to Foo Fighters it serves a purpose.
Personally, I agree.

There's a 29 year gap between these two videos. What was and wasn't acceptable in 1982 is no longer the same in 2011.

I just read an article about this song. It seems the numbnuts from the Westboro Baptist Church were picketing a Foo Fighters concert and so the band members hopped onto a flatbed, drove in front of the Westboro's picket line and performed this song, ending with “God Bless America, land of the free, home of the brave. I don’t care if you’re black or white or purple or green. Whether you’re Pennsylvanian or Transylvanian, Lady Gaga or Lady Antebellum. Men lovin’ women and women lovin’ men, and men lovin’ men and women lovin’ women, you all know we like to watch that. God bless America ya’ll.”
