So, being from Montreal, or really, Quebec, or Canada for that matter, Queen albums are generally harder to find at independent record stores, let alone solo albums.

So today after school, I decided to go to my local record store, which is only 15 minutes away from my school. So, being a fan of several different artists (all inter-related somehow), I wanted to see if they had any Yoko Ono albums in stock. So, they said that they had no idea, and that I should check the psychedelic/ obscure/ progressive section. And, while looking, I see an album with an alien on it, and I'm thinking to myself, "F**king drug addicts, always doing the crazy album artwork." Only about 5 seconds later did I realize it was an original Canadian press of Roger's Fun In Space LP!

So, today (well, yesterday) September 2nd, if (un)officially buy a solo record day. Solo from any band. Be it Robert Plant, or John Lennon, or even someone like Ravi Shakhar, who only does collaborations.

I don't know. I just felt like telling a story.

Fun In Space is great. I've yet to see any Queen solo albums in Australian shops, though I wouldn't know where to look.
