The end of it still sounds wrong - it was the one thing I was wondering if they would finally fix on the 2011 remaster - but no!
Or have I always heard it wrong and it is perfectly fine?!??!

It's a shit ending IMO, but isn't an error, or wrong. If it's how the guys intended it to sound, then it's "perfectly fine" and so shouldn't be tampered with on these, or any other, remasters.
