That's not a glitch, that's how Brian actually plays it! The problem in the original version is that there is a HELL of a lot of reverb masking that (accidental?) string pluck!

Don't know what equipment you're listening to it on, but if you have headphones like mine (Sony MDR-V6, which are studio quality headphones at a VERY reasonable price! HIGHLY RECOMMEND you get one!) you'll definitely be able to hear it.
