I don't know about the rest of you, but I'm crossing my fingers for the Wembley '86 show!

One of the old ones "remasterd", with "extras" - mark my words.

I can see us getting a few bonus tracks from Hyde Park on the Hammersmith DVD.  But unfortunately I don't think we'll ever get to see the complete show.

So many things that need releasing o_o. Hammersmith would've been fitting for a late 2011 release (and it being broadcast with DOOL gave me a flicker of hope) but that's a missed opportunity now. I wouldn't expect anything new from them soon.

Does anyone have soundscan stats on Queen? I'm especially curious how many units projects like "Rock Montreal" and "On Fire" have been sold to date in the states. CD and DVD. They don't even chart so I'm wondering if it's worth the effort to release anything here Live-wise other than "Live Killers" and some unreleased 70s shows. Altough I prefer post-A Night At The Opera Queen (minority here?) I really wouldn't purchase anymore shows post The Gam toure. "Budapest" would be pointless in the states (not proud of this mind you)

I doubt they'll release Paris '79 or Tokyo '82... Freddie didn't sound very good at those too gigs.. especially the latter one. (Just listen to Play the Game or Body Language lol) :)

I'd be happy with anything from the 70's though as it would really be a breakthru (pardon the pun).

If I had to choose another 80's concert to be released it would be the first Rock in Rio '85 in complete.
Oh no Not again - Hyde was not a good show - great occasion yes but a BAD performance. Forget it cos it´ll never see the light of day...

I'm starting not to be to bothered about what is released, just as long as its something soon.

I can imagine a Zeppelin style release of 70's material, with possibly a full Rainbow and Hammersmith'75 show then highlights of Japan '75, Hyde Park, Earls Court and Houston, with maybe the odd bit of rare filmed for TV stuff thrown in. I do think that would be a shame though because a lot of that stuff deserves a full stand alone release.

I do think a Live Killers release is a strong possibility with Paris being the main feature.

Montreal re-released with the South American shows as a bonus (what should have been on the original)

Rio first night. With second night highlights, Tokyo and any other Works stuff as a bonus.

Budapest with the DoRo knebworth stuff as bonus and anything else they have lying around.

Hmm.. I don't know about Live Killers, the band was never very happy with it (in terms of mixing, compiling etc.) Have they re-released it since it's original release?

Since this year has almost ended, can we really expect something in the following 2012? Any guesses?

Next year all the live albums will be reissued. Will they contain bonus? It's a thought in the air right now.

Yes Greg, we all do.
Any way the wind blows...

Which show was on 4/25/79? Sorry, I'm not that a very experienced collector of their live shows

Well, there's about 30 minutes of excellent footage from this show and it's just stunnning.
Freddie's voice is completely shot but he still gives his all and compensates with great showmanship (him throwing a million tambourines in the audience during KYA is quite fantastic to watch:-)
The true stars of this show are the other members of Queen as they do everything they can to compensate for FM's weak voice and they succeed. There's some truly incredible playing... The intro to KYA, the middle part of DSMN, the energy in the first few songs are some of the best Queen moments on film imo..
