Yes, I saw that too.
The first three albums will be released November 23rd in Japan by Universal. The second batch (ANATO, ADATR and NOTW) wil come out December 14th.

I'll probably buy one or two to compare, and unless they're spectacular compared to the 2011 cds - I'll wait until they release the catalogue on blu ray before I buy it all over again

NOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!! Its about time we stopped buying the same stuff over and over and over and over again, its what they want and will keep doing until people stop.
You cannot complain about the lack of new/old/rare/archive releases when you buy the old albums all the time.
Time for a boycott I think

Yes, these are different, but the content is the same (single discs). They have different catalogue numbers. And they are going to be quite expensive too!

I hope they would be 5.1 - yet I would also like to see if they do some sort of release with Blu-Ray. Let's make it 7.1 while we're at it. CDUnivers.com also confirms these SACD releases...except at $30 more expensive. I have a feeling that these SACD are not going to be 5.1, we would have definitely heard of Brian in the studio remixing the first three albums

They won't be 5.1 - just high resolution stereo!

I had listen some of SACD-SHM and are absolute great!!!!!!, most of them are only 2 ch, but actually sound better than regular CD or SHM-CD but the bad part is that are sell in Japan Only and you can search for titles on ebay but cost a lot of money, anyway maybe there will be the best releases of Queen, I cant wait to November!
