Albums to be released on SACD format

It appears the Queen albums are to be released in the Super Audio CD Format.

The Super Audio CD format promises better sound quality than regular CD. In fact - the same sound quality as the original master tapes. SACD's can't be played on regular CD players.

It appears to be a Japanese only limited release at this stage.

Why not continue with the Audio DVD releases?

I think, that SACD can be played on normal CD player. I have no problems playing Pink Floyd's Dark Side SACD on regular player.

The web pages say they won't play on regular CD players, so presumably that means they're not hybrid discs. Also at that price they can keep them, 36 quid per album (plus postage) for ones that don't say which mix (or re-mix) generation they are and there doesn't appear to be 5.1 channel sound (no mention of it anyway).
