Can anyone tell me where each of the performances from Live Magic are from? I read somewhere that most were from the Knebworth show. Is that correct? Any info would be appreciated.

Indeed, it's mostly from Knebworth, but there are three other shows in the mix -
A Kind of Magic - Budapest 7-27-86 Under Pressure - Budapest 7-27-86 Is This the World We Created - Wembley 7-11-86 Hammer To Fall - Wembley 7-12-86
The two Budapest tracks are notably different mixes from the VHS release.

I always thinked that Live Magic sounds waaaay better than Live At Wembley, but the cut the songs, too bad.
The archivist said Queen record also the Slane, Newcastle and Manchester shows. Is that correct? Why didn't include it in Live Magic?

I do remember seeing a recording truck at Slane. I don't know what happened to the recording.

It's in the archives. If I recall correctly, I do believe Slane was used for overdubs on Wembley.

A Kind of Magic from Budapest is the best live version of that song!
And the Live Magic mix is the best! IMO it's worth getting Live Magic just for that one :)

I agree. The sound is good but cutting the songs is unforgivable.
