I love it when people judge an artist's entire output based on a few songs they've heard on the radio..
Hmm.. by that rationale no one should have an opinion at all about any band unless they have heard the entire back catalogue?!
Plus demos, outtakes and home recordings of them when they were three.
Bon Jovi has always been trash. Might've put out music that could be described as 'competent' in their earlier years but even then it hasn't exactly aged well. They're definitely no Tom Petty ... and I don't even fuckin' LIKE Tom Petty.

I dont know about the mid2000s but if he sounds better now.. then the improvisation that i heard him make on youtube trying to imitate Freddie makes me wonder how he sounded..
