You may wonder "Gee, why that song or version or track?" Basically, the answer is, because I felt like it. I tried to have one version of every known Queen track, including the overlapping Smile material and various related Solo works. The only doubles I felt justified were those that were significant deviations or evolved versions, like "Keep Yourself Alive." And I tried to keep them in chronological order as best I could.

Feel free to adapt or adjust as you see fit. I think it makes an interesting playlist when run in order.

[Correction: I had "Wishing Well" in there twice on Disc 10. Oops. I took the 2nd one out and swapped "Drums" from the 2005 Newcastle show Download]

Great list!  I'm gonna try to make a playlist of these.

BTW:  Do you know what all these songs have in common?  They were all released after the last time the Leafs won the cup.  [img=/images/smiley/msn/teeth_smile.gif][/img]

I have no illusions (delusions?) about the Maple Leafs, but this season, so far so good (knock on wood).

The Leafs were 4-0 and people were practically planning the parade route.

They'll be 8-12 before you know it.

These tracks are very likely from 1977.  Roger's News Of The World kit is heard, and Mercury's voice is more developed.  There really should be no debate on this, but unfortunately there still is.

I knew Silver Salmon would be discussed. Moving it to 1977 doesn't change the content any (everything would just shift up one track as it moves down). I freely admit I may be wrong assigning it to the Queen 1 era, but I can't yet bring myself to move it there. Call me stubborn.

Correct, it wasn't meant as "QPL should've released this!," however, if they released something like it with more unreleased/unknown stuff, I would not complain. Substitute every live track with a demo of the same song, for example, though obviously not for songs they covered, and that would be a fine place to start compiling a definitive boxed set.
