Gouden Leeuwen Festival 1975

I have seen this date mentioned a few times - July 24, 1975 at the Gouden Leeuwen (Golden Lions) Festival in Blankenberghe, Belgium.

I've heard they lip-synched Killer Queen, but is there any proper documentation of this event as a whole?

I dated a girl who's father is a Queen fan, had been to the Gouden Leeuwen festival in 1975 and saw Queen there.
He confirmed the date and told me Queen recieved an award but did not perform live.

This is when they received a Golden Lion Award for Killer Queen.

But can you completely confirm that they didn't lip-synch the song?  A lot of artists "performed" at the festival.

I don't see that girl anymore, so we have to rely on what her father told me:
they did not perform, only recieved an award.

Maybe Brian remembers something about this Festival.
