On yur website you write about a dropped US arena tour at this time...so they werein the US I gues? Or theinterviewer flew outt o the UK ?
The radio host says "we talked to the band last week" ...

========================

At one point Brian says "in this country and in America," which could mean Canada, the UK or Europe.  Roger states, "Your country, America" but that doesn't necessarily mean that's where the interview took place.  It likely does, but anything is possible.

They could even be pieces of multiple interviews.  There's a member of some other band there during Freddie's spot.  So who knows..

Thank you for this. I wonder how the US station got its hands on the March Rainbow gig?  Maybe through Queen's management.  Hmmmmmmm....

======================

Perhaps Queen were considering releasing this as a live album at the time, and didn't think much of giving a few polished tracks to be broadcast on the radio.  The 7-song version of the show is clearly formatted as an album... overdubs and all.  So it may be that simple.

Yes indeed, but the chanche that all the reel tapes left the radio station is impossible.

Most of the tapes were re-used or stored for frther broadcasts...

Mostly these tapes were repressed on vinyl like the westwood ones... it's a copy of the master reel so 1 gen higher , the quality of vinyl is inferior to reels... I think...

Man, this is so generous of you.  Many thanks indeed.

If I can, in return, give you any tips or help on how to edit stuff without losing any quality, just let me know.  I'd be more than happy to help.
