Is the Blu ray of days of our lives being released in the uk? Doesn't seem any of the uk shopping sites have it on pre order.

can you preorder it and have it shipped to the US from one of the online stores?
That's what I had to do with the 25th Anniversary Live At Wembley release. Every friggin' U.S. supplier I tried either didn't have it listed or had it on 'backorder'. Grrrr...
So did I, normaly I get them from amazon uk but there not showing it either.
Yeah, I noticed that too - because Amazon.co.uk is where I finally bought the 25th Wembley DVD from.
Strange it's not even listed for pre-order yet...

I'm still confused by the fact that it seems as if the only Blu ray edition that can be ordered on any Japanese sites is always labelled as an import and is therefore the same as the UK/RoW. There doesn't seem to be a Japanese Blu ray, and so the 40 mins of extras exclusive to Japan are seemingly only available on DVD.
Will the Days of Our Lives Blu-ray play in U.S. players?

It depends on whether it's Region coded or not.
As for the actual format, you'll be fine with it.
It'll be purposely made for NTSC TV sets (seems to be becoming a standard these days), so yet again the 3/4 of the worlds countries that use the PAL TV system will again have drag/blur problems :((
The only positive is that because it's Bluray (and therefore hopefully 1080i), we won't suffer the reduction in picture quality that you get when converting from a PAL source to NTSC.
