The "Need Your Loving Tonight" bootleg hasn't yet been shared here, but the people of Queenzone aren't missing much, as there are two other sources from the 1981.02.13 Tokyo show that are in great quality.
The recording itself is excellent, but please stop with the excessive compression. It makes the recordings virtually unlistenable. The last couple bootlegs (this and "Teo Torriatte" from 1981.02.17) are even distorted in places because of the over-saturation caused by the limiter. A bit of compression is fine, but not the point that the volume constantly fluctuates because the peak-to-average ratio is being squashed, creating a sound wave that almost looks like a square.
There is no point in doing this. It is a single mouse click in Pro Tools or whatever your DAW is. You will still make your money either way. Please stop hindering the listening experience. Thanks in advance.

Does anyone have a emailaddress from these guys ?

I agree too, but these guys are also butchering other recordings, like Rainbow or Black Sabbath. It´s pity because these recordings could sound so great...

Their Zeppelin tape from Tokyo 9-23-71 is all mangled too. Brutal, as it could be the best-sounding source of the show. Ah well, at least there are like 7 others..

They don't care, they just want your money.

Maybe ''Mr. Peach'' has made some kind of ''deal'' with Tarantura to release his sources in less quality than the originals.. Possibility?

We got that "Stark" fellow on here: If anyone can fix the recording, he can do it. His work on other recordings is brilliant.

Greg, unfortunately stark (or anyone, I'm quite sure) can't recover a digitally butchered recording like Tarantura's.
However, I hope he can, somehow....

well... giving it a second thought, excessive compression could be "hid" with some EQ'ing...
but still nothing like having the original untouched master !!

Unlikely, because they do it to recordings from many tapers, not just his.

Indeed ! But in this case, they overdid it on the compression to the point that it's distorted, and nothing can fix that.

It's such a shame that they make recordings distorted.. Let's hope that the taper ''Mr. Peach'' himself will share his own masters one day..

Yes , some recordings rom this label sound like Queen was recorded live in a tin can... The original must be far more superior to the "tarantura"remastered version....
