Of all these demo tracks (that hopefully we've only heard in SUPER SKETCH form...and therefore nowhere near completion) the only one that interests me is "My secret Fantasy".. cause at least the sketch was interesting.
Robbery sounded forced, but maybe the band wound up with something stronger by pushing it. Face it Alone... i think i've only heard a very long guitar melody.
that doesn't sound too interesting since all it's doing is revisiting FM tracks.
Wasn't there a band recording of Freedom Train?
LAST ADDITION: come to think of it.... I think "Tvazt Szel" (however you spell it) would be prime for a reworking. Maybe Gazelle with some scratch ideas he had in there. (which i'm sure were omitted for humor's sake)
odd as it may sound.... it you've flipped the needle onto side one of JAZZ you've heard far stranger things...

I personally think 'Dog with a Bone' will be there. Roger has talked about it and they don't have to put much effort into finishing this track. So no bare bones with this one. And as i said before.... we don't know how many takes exist from Dog with a Bone. What we heard is a duet between Freddie and Roger but I assume there are also versions in the archive with just the lead of Roger and Freddie which of course they won't take to a convention.

This was my fear in the other thread - I hope it's not like that - lets have some of the old 70's outtakes - perhaps they should've held Feelings Feelings back for this. Or even better, two volumes - 70's and 80's.

Dysan, I can imagine your proposal for 70 and 80 separated.
I lik to add the song Sandbox (1980)
I think we have to be patient and wait for some nice surprises in the near future.
In the end every Queen fan is probably satisfied when he/she hear new Freddie vocals.

i have a gut feeling they're gonna do "queen versions" of she blows hot and cold (alternate) & new york (mercury demo)

'Feel like' seems also to be a very complete track. And I could Imagine that they will rework Mercury tracks, like she blows hot and cold or stop all the fighting or maybe my love is dangerous.

Feel like is the demo of under pressure. Then it should be an album with 'demo-babys of the greatest hits we already know Also interesting ... maybe this would be the next project voor Brian and Roger. Actually the project where Greg asked for handwritten songs.

I can't get Stealin' out of my head the last few day and although it was released as a demo, I'd like to see it maybe revisited especially after hearing the 11 minute long version. I'm also a fan of Face It Alone, I Guess We're Falling Out and I do like aspects of Affairs.
Obviously the worse thing Brian and Roger could do is make an album of mediocrity which pale against the rest, unless it's targeted towards the fans as more of a demos present of some kind.
Hopefully there's much more in the archives we haven't heard yet.

What about Face it Alone?

Hangman should be on this album. If any song deserves to be on here its Hangman. We have been listening to this live version for years now, there must be a recording in the vaults. This song would be perfect at the end of the album, other songs would be Face it Alone, Guess im falling out, Assassain and a nice jam of Affairs. As i did say on here few days back that there was a Demo album in the works, i now stand corrected and can see you all are noticing that it is offical Queen are working on it... So ok let really get into this...Ive made a 20 track Demo album and will be listening to it until they release the album.........Queen Forever i guess??

What interests me is waht they will do with John bass line...will they stick with what he did, or re-do it themselves or with another player, I highly doubt he will come back and work on it but I live in hope

Yeah me too. As I said in the other tread there are several options.
- Brian and Roger play bass - Guest bass player; Steve Barnacle, Danny Miranda, Neil Murray or that bloke from the Kerry Ellis concerts with Brian May - John will join Brian and Roger in the studio making that album.and leave the pressjobs to Brian and Roger - Tapes are send to John's home so he can put the basstrack on the songs and send them back. John remains quite. - The album wil not be released because John will not approve. So it will be no Queen album but a"Freddie Mercury" - the forgotten duets- album with guest musicians Brian May and Roger Taylor.
