Hallo Hallo.

I started watching my Days of our lives - Blu-ray last night and noticed some little changes here and there, compared to the broadcasted BBC version - i.e. some interview bits being a bit longer or, at some point, cut out completely...
What I noticed so far:

- any comments concerning the cocaine dwarf by Brian and Ratty are NOT included on the DVD for some reason... (Mack's memories about "cocaine and other drugs" consumed during Hot Space recording sessions were left in tough)

- Clytus / "Queen are evil" sequence is missing

- extended interview bits from Brian and Roger about meeting Sid Vicious

Have you guys found some other changes yet??

Just a quick question :) is there a booklet inside or something like that ? :)

Yes there is a booklet but nothing spectacular but the Blu-Ray is simply awesome. More than 100 minutes of bonus material.

Mine had 2 booklets ;)

So strange - so there's stuff missing from the Blu-ray that was IN the BBC broadcast?

I'm still waiting for my Blu-ray from Amazon.co.uk...

It looks that I'll be glad I didn't delete the TV broadcast :)

I've been reported that some people already got their Days Of Our Lives documentary. Why the fuck isn't it still on the Internet?
Can I please ask you once again: has anybody already bought Days Of Our Lives on Blu-ray?
I've got the power to love to live I can't say it ain't right

That's interesting about the cuts and the not-cuts. I'm off to a very popular torrent site to get a good copy from the broadcast.

Ordered my Blu-Ray from eBay, still waiting...

Incoherent sentences and an answer to your question in the original post of this thread and overuse of bold fonts.
Please stop, thank you.

Did they really feel that a 'drug references' classification was going to hurt them that badly, and was Flash Gordon imagery so hard to get permissions for?

Only reasons I can think of for the edits.  Ah well - I still have the broadcast one on my hard drive, but since I'm mainly in this for the extras I'm not fussed about losing a couple of short spots of the thing.  Ebay tells me that my disc shipped a day or two ago.

Very pleased with it, the binus stuff was well worth getting, a little short in places but I enjoyed them
I think the package as a whole is one of the best Queen have released, in an ideal world I would have liked more about the recording process and extended footage of them in the studio where possible, but a great Blu-ray nevertheless
