WATC 'new version'

We Are The Champions 2011: In 1977, cameras filmed Queen recording a new version of the song for the promo video.  This video shows the band performing and mixing this unreleased version in two live takes.

Any discussion about this? A new live version?

At earls court in 1977 when Queen told fans they were recording the video for we are the champions, 3 or more versions appeared on the bootleg of this eventm so i guess there is different takes from the shoot, but i dont see them as new versions of the song....check out london 6 10  1977.

1997? Maybe you meant the Earls Court gig in June 1977?
And they didn't tell about it at the Earls Court because it was three months before they would INDEED film it.
And WATC video shoot took its place in London on 6th October 1977, not 10th June. You've confused the dates.

Can someone upload this to youtube.
I like to buy the blue-ray, but only dvd is available at the moment and I have to buy an blue-ray player.
I'm looking forward to watch it in suburb quality.

3. Bob Harris with his team were filming the concert (God knows if complete or not), there are many unused angles in the documentary Killer Queen

1. Uploading officially released material to Youtube is illegal, and the video won't last very long.
2. "blue-ray" is a fish (Neoraja caerulea) , you probably meant Blu-ray.
3. You don't have to buy a Blu-ray player, a PC drive is much cheaper and much more effective
4. Suburb is an area of a town ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Suburb ) - you probably meant superb.

Hey we both posted 150 plus times so lets rant from now on dwazen.

Ok back to the subject We are the champions has 3 video promos 1. the version we all know 2. has a different guitar part 3. This starts in black and white and goes colour when the drums kick in, (wizrad of oz style)

1. Available on Greatest Flix and Greatest hits 1 DVD
2.Was on Greatest Flix video when first released but Version 1 was put back in on future releases.
3.Was show on Top of the pops 2 in 2004.

So if anyone taped Top Of the Pops 2 then please post it, all versions are the same length BTW

Found a top of the pops2 link showing We are the champions played oct20th 1977 but i cant get real player to work in my laptop so if anyone can view the video let us all know if its a different version

I don't know how the "search algorithm" works, but many illegal videos are still there, while many other illegal videos disappear within hours !
