The sound on the Rock Montreal DVD.

I watched the Rock Montreal DVD the other day, and I noticed that the sound "goes in-and-out" all the time. Really painful to listen. I used the XBOX360 as the DVD player, and only the sound from the TV.

Has anybody else experienced the same thing?

I think the mix on this and the Milton Keyes DVD is shit. Especially on the tracks issued as audio on the bonus material.

To me, the Rock Montreal mix is by far teh best live audio they have released, and it poos all over Wembley, and especially MK, from a great height

Completely agree with you, cmsdrums... RM is stunning sound, and vastly superior to any of their other live releases' audio

I totally agree. I have no idea what these guys are talking about. Also, from a visual standpoint, Rock Montreal is probably the best quality concert they've ever released as well.

The sound is definitely the best on any Queen live release.

But the picture?  Have a look at this before making any conclusions...

The sound on RM is probably one of the best concert sounds I've ever heard. I wonder why you guys think it's shit. Then listen to something like Glasgow 1974.

.... yes, I´m  "bulsara" from there :-) and yes, QRM - it brings to us  absolutely the best live audio PCM or DTS by Queen ever to today ... Video on DVD is another story ... :-( QPL is a band of fools .... Video on DVD is terrible .... Pioneer boys made excellent video-work on WWRY DVD ... Sorry for my terrible English ....

perhaps you need to check your settings?
do you have a default surround setting on your hi fi while the dvd has a default stereo? that can cause "drop outs"

QRM is easily the best Queen live release. the sound is stunning

Great sound quality, But I have 2 10"inch subwoofers in the back of my Mustang, and I gotta adjust the bass down. When I put the Montreal concert on, too much loud low Freq's. With John's bass on Play the the game, plus others combine with Roger's bass drum. Distorts a bit too much with a boom box. Gotta crank it down a notch.
