Isnt it annoying when there is a left and right vocal channel but its just the same multitracked voice on each and they have not been seperated?
Or am I being too picky?!

That's all you're gonna get I'm afraid :( They somehow make the two different - perhaps apply a bit of reverb to one - and treat it as a double-track of sorts. But they're always the same. Remember these come from a game where people have to sing a line - not a choir!
Well what we need is for someone to invent 38.6 DTS surround sound.

Oh God...
and the annoying bleep that's on the 2011 remaster of I'm In Love With My Car it's also on this multitrack (35 seconds into the song) FUUUUUUUUU are these people deaf? xD

If you mean the odd little sound under "hub-caps", that's always been there since the original release. Sounds like a little guitar effect to me, but no idea if its a mistake or supposed to be a representation of a squeaky clean hub-cap...
This is incredible stuff. I feel like an archaeologist learning about how the pyramids were built. Isolating the bass and drums in Long Away is recommended. John's bass line is just so gorgeous.
And I'm baffled over the sea of sustained guitars before the last verse. There is no oscillation in the notes and no feedback. How in the world did they achieve that effect?
Question for Pro Tools guys. I start a 16/48 session and import the tracks. Long Away opens instantly, but I'm In Love With My Car needs to convert to 16/48 before opening, even though the tracks are 16/48 to begin with. What's the difference between them?

Agree completely. This is the stuff that for me feels like the musical education I've wanted my whole life. Hearing things for the first time, wondering how and why they did it, this stuff is superb.
I would MUCH rather have these multitracks than anything that could possibly be included in the urban myth known as the 'anthology'
I was just wondering if anybody could reupload 'I'm In Love...'?
Oh No!
