No, I definately don't think so. If there's a private video where you sit in the bath tub and your gay friend rubbers your back then there's a point reached where you want to protect your privacy. That's something that should not be made public no matter if these tapes come from Jim or whoever made them available. Freddie was very careful to protect his privacy and people who were close to him. Freddie never talked about his relationships or partners except from Mary. I think it's not people's right to step that deep into someone's private life. And btw Freddie made a lot of sarcastic statements and most important he said to Jim Beach sth like whatever you do don't make me boring. If you really think that Freddie didn't care about these things after this death then I think you did not understand who Freddie was!

I've got to agree - this footage makes for pretty uncomfortable viewing IMVHO. I know I have the choice of whether to or not, but it really didn't ought to be in the public domain like this. We all know how private an individual Freddie was, especially towards the end of his life and this kind of thing just completely breaks that apart and gives people who weren't invited or ever likely to be, a key to the door.

Makes me wonder under what guise did Jim give this material away; was it under the provisio that whomsoever received it wouldn't copy it or trade it? Was it SOLD by Jim to raise funds? Was Jim bothered at all where it may end up?
