With this mix, I mainly tried to improve on the drum sound of the original, while adding a few little tweaks along the way.
Hope you enjoy it!

Love the echoes previous to the vocals and at the start of the guitar solo, like Queen did some at some parts on Ride the Wild Wind and You Don't Fool Me. The live feeling is also noticeable!

Voting has opened - if you like my mix, please vote for it!
I completely forgot about this contest until just now. I would have voted for your mix.
It's great of course. After only one listen though I think I prefer your prior mix of this song. I'll have to give it some more time. I had a squirming two year old on my lap at the time. He was saying "Turn off the piano and lets watch bulldozers!"
Any chance of a download for this one?
Cheers!

Thank you!
DL'ing now.
I'll post my mix if/when I ever finish it. It's more of a deconstruction but I'm stuck for fresh ideas. Maybe someday.

Here's my DSMN. I've actually gone off this a bit now, and I think it could have been done better - the cymbals are too loud, for one thing, and although it's better than the original, I'm not sure I like the snare sound any more. Might have another go at it sometime, but until then...
