Showing a chronological progression of Freddies life is not very interestesting film-wise and a bit outdated. Biopics are currently made with an unsuspecting structure focusing on a lot of emotion most of the time instead of summing up some milestones.. that's what we have documentaries for.
I honestly hope SBC will leave the 'stache behind. Freddies more than just teeth and stache.. an image the general public accepts as the iconic Freddie..

They could have just made the movie about Queen in general instead of Freddie since they aren't following through with his entire life to the end anyhow.

I know I am very much in the minority but as a life long Queen fan who fell in love with the band in a Richmond record shop listening to 'Father to Son' in 1974 and who has follwed the band ever since the thought of Borrat playing Freddie does not make me want to see this film and seeing Sasha in Hugo did nothing to convince me otherwise. Each to his/her own I am sure it will be a hit but I am not sure I will be going to see it.

The best music bio is Walk The Line. They can twist a few truths and timelines if they make a film as good as that one.
