Super audio CD.
Almost all commercially released SACDs have included both stereo (dual-channel) and surround sound (multi-channel) mixes. A multi-channel mix need not be surround.

Don't get too excited. I think the topic op is referring to the following Japan-only SHM-SACD releases, which would be stereo-only (although certainly to contain high-res quality audio on the SACD layer!). The prices however definitely make these something only for serious hardcore collectors.
