Roger Taylor - The Great Music Experience Japan 1994

First of all I would like to wish everybody here on Queenzone a happy and healthy 2012!            

In 1994 Roger made a guest appearance during the “The Great Music Experience Concerts” in Japan, where western musicians were meeting eastern (Japanese) musicians.

There were in total 3 concerts, given on 20/21/22 May 1994, from which only 2 were registrated and broadcasted in some form.  

Last-Horizon and Kurgan100 already shared the complete audio of both concerts (with Roger’s appearance) and some video material. (see links below). 

As always when more concerts were given at the same venue in the same period, there is a lot confusion about the correct dates (even when it also was broadcasted with mixed dates). To be honest I’m also not sure if dates which I have given to the tracks are 100% correct! Please do correct me when I’m wrong!!

Then about my share:
About 17 years ago a Dutch Television station “Veronica” did broadcast a complete concert, labeled as 22 May 1994 (so till nobody corrects this, I keep this as the correct date). I taped it back then on the good old VHS Video cassette and that’s
what you will find here…(with simple Menu). The quality is very good (considering the fact that it's from VHS and almost 18 years old) 

During the same period I also taped some parts from a different TV station (I can’t remember which one..?), with different audio/video sources, so I do presume that this is from 21 May 1994. Unfortunately it’s not complete (end of the VHS Tape reached...) and the video quality is a little less.

It's a shame that the gaps haven't been filled as of yet (first night and bits and pieces of the subsequent nights are still missing).

It would be great to have the definitive full three nights audios.

On the first concert, I note that the caption bearing Roger's name as he is introduced to the stage by Yoshiko,is completely missing the bottom half.

Is your original VHS tape like this or have you inadvertantly captured it or encoded it wrong?
