As we all know Bob Harris interviewed the band in 1977. A lot of this footage were in the "Days of our lives" documentary and also in the "Champions of the world" documentary. Only in the Champions docu the year is incorrect. It says 1973 but it must be 1977. Now my question is, is this Bob Harris interview with Queen from 1977 and is their also a full version of it. Because what we see in the docu's are bits and pieces. To show you which bit i am talking about: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0K9g3pdib3Q
So is there a full broadcast version from this interview available.

99% of the dates given in ANY DoRo documentary are WRONG. I don't know if it's because the DoRo guys are lazy, or idiots but you can NEVER trust any date given in any DoRo product.

Bob Harris and his crew followed Queen only in 1977. What we do have from his footage (in varying quality) is
- interview with Roger (smoking a cigarette)
- interview with Freddie (on a couch)
- interview with John (in a car)
- interview with Brian (backstage in probably Houston)
- band walking on a street - Freddie swings his "lasso"
- band in some hotel room
- band preparing for the We Are The Champions video shoot
- the WATC video shoot
- video of the band watching We Are The Champions on TV in a bar ?
- studio footage of recording We Are The Champions and My Melancholy Blues
- band arriving in Houston
- Houston backstage footage
- We Will Rock You fast in Houston
- interview with the band somewhere in America (Freddie has a Kennedy ? mask, John talks about how they were "badly handled" by their management)

Did I forget something ?

I assumed the Houston lasso and backstage stuff was by local news crew?

Yes, you're right. I have those bits but maybe we will get to see the complete thing.

NOTW tour rehearsals.
TYMD Soundcheck, apparently from Houston.

"Four hours interview with Fred.... hundreds of hours of footage...", according to Bob Harris...

Probably included in the footage is stuff from when Queen played Las Vegas... I know the Whistle Test team were definitely there with the band...

I don't know, but it all looks to be to be filmed by the same equipment

Not Kennedy, but Jimmy Carter mask, I think
The Greatest Rock'n Roll Hearted Man.

I've always wondered why the whistle test documentary was never shown on TV or released later on video or DVD.
It was edited and finished. It would give a great snapshot of what Queen were about and doing in the mid 70's.
Maybe they should release it as a double DVD with the Houston show.
As regards DoRo agreed, you can't trust any dates given in their editing stunt show!

that would be one of the best releases if these complete documentary was released because of seeing all those loose bits makes you want to see the whole thing.

@pittrek: you mean cameras :o)

A Houston / '77 Bob Harris doc double DVD is now top of my 2012 wish list.
