This is my littlen new year's present.


“SONGS PREMIUM” - #42 QUEEN (1 hour extended version)

This TV program was broadcasted in Japanese satellite TV station “NHK BS premium” on December 15, 2011.

A British rock band, Queen reached the organization 40th anniversary this year. As there was a big reaction to broadcast in "SONGS" of June, we send the version we enlarged for "SONGS PREMIUM" for 60 minutes.
Though 20 years pass since Freddie Mercury, the lead vocal of Queen, died, the sound of them is still loved by a wide generation. We send many undying famous tunes with precious pictures this time. In addition, Brian May and Roger Taylor, the original members of Queen, accepted "SONGS" exclusive interview appear. From their valuable talking, we approach to the charm of songs of Queen are still loved.

Thank you very much for sharing the 8 GB, Masahiko :-) It will take a while for me to complete it. I am very curious to see the NIH bit from 1975 because the 2011 DOOL extras from Japan were not so great as I hoped.  I would not be surprised if Japanese TV did a better job!

A related question ... is it worth my while paying through the nose for a Japanese import, just to get the 1975 footage ?
