Here is a nice rare link to freddie singing the great pretender, never knew he sang it on stage thought there was only the video version around, will look more into how many performances he made of this song.... So really he did sing well mime live after knebworth and barcelone etc.

So has anyone any more information, when he sang this on a german tv show and did he performe it anywhere else?

This is a mimed performance in a German game show called "4 Gegen Willy" in March 1987. It has been shared here on QZ half a dozen times:-) The Barcelona performance was also mimed (not sure about the Ku Club performance but no live sound is known, so probably it was mimed, as well). Freddie's only actual live performance after Queen was his  appearance with Cliff Richard in the "Time" charity gig in the Dominion theater.
