Last photo?

It's from the Brit Awards 1990 ceremony. It's just that the lighting makes him look far worse than what he was in that picture.
I saw a photo where he was with Barbara Valentin (I think the caption said "1991"). He looked really bad there (probably one of his last photos).

EDIT: Here's the photo. It doesn't have the "1991" caption, though.

It can't be from 1989--he at least looked in decent shape then (with some weight on him)!
