His birthday in 91 was very quiet. This would be earlier.
But it can be for 1991 but, this is similar photos in the book Freddie Mercury Bohemian Rhapsody life takes you there in 1990 did not have Freddie has a beard here
Yeah but its more stubble than beard, would have only taken a two or three days max to grow?

There is no way on this Earth that photo is from 1991, 1990 is the more sensible answer

This is was 1990. I have a bunch of these shots that I found on ebay several years ago where Dave Clark was there, Jim Hutton, Mary and her husband Piers, ,Peter Straker, Jim Beach and his wife and a few others including Phoebe and Joe Fanellie. I would love to post them but it says ebay stamped across them and I assume they were not to be reproduced. That birthday photo was indeed from 1990. I believe it was in Jim Hutton's book where it was mentioned that Freddie's birthday 1990 was the very last one celebrated with friends, as his birthday in 1991 was kept a very simple affair with very few people around.
