When the shows ratings dropped off they did numerous silly contrived ideas...and in one instance the FONZ does a stunt where on water skis... he literally jumps over a shark.... apparently to save his respect among his peers as "such a baddass guy"
contrived.... stupid plot bends in order to garner new viewers or keep the old ones...
