Family Guy "Killer Queen" Episode

"...Meanwhile, Stewie is traumatized by the frightening cover of a Queen News of the World album from Peter's collection that he goes through to sell. Brian decides to buy it to torment Stewie and plants the cover everywhere. But when Stewie shoots Rupert to save him from a fate worse than death and Stewie puts the gun in his mouth, Brian comes clean and gets Stewie to see it is just a record album..."

It was actually pretty funny. Minus the gun scene.

Was that on tonight's episode? Damn, I missed it!!! I love that they've referenced Queen a few times on that show!

That was a hilarious episode! I was slightly disappointed they didn't use any actual music from NOTW though ;-P (sorry if that was a bit of a spoiler!)

As a kid I was terrified by the cover too. Especially the inner sleeve.

lol “News of The World” freaked Stewie out.

Looks like, Seth Macfarlane is a fan.

I wander what kind of impact if any, this episode will have on the album sales.

I don't really watch Family Guy, so I didn't see I when it came out, so now I'm trying to get my hands (or my eyes, rather) on it, but I'm not having any luck so far.

I love the occasional Queen references on Family Guy and American Dad.

My favorite is the Freddie Mercury statue Steve (from American Dad) receives after losing some competition, but to be politically correct eveybody has to get a trophy.

American Dad has done it quite a few times (Don't Stop Me Now, Bicycle Race, Another One Bites The Dust) and I love it when they do...

I love that they played "Killer Queen" instead of the closing theme. Good times!
