Too bad I can't go to England for a weekend.

Please can we avoid having the 'few' interesting guests on stage at the same time as the Market Place like the last two years?
It's not fair to stall holders.
I also recall coming out of the Archive Session last year to find the "Queen In Cornwall" session was already underway!
Bonkers!
Market place & Archive Session happen EVERY year. You'd think that guests would be scheduled around them rather than clashing.
It's SO annoying when it gets to mid afternoon and there's nothing happening apart from a quiz or some videos playing!

@ brians wig: Jacky Smith would be the one to make suggestions to, not Gary. I highly doubt Gary's involved with the overall planning outside of his own panel(s) that he's hosting.
You can contact Jacky through either of these avenues:

You're right mate, but as Gary seems to be in the know, I figured a request from HIM might fall on more 'open' ears...
Jacky has been emailed :)

I've never attended a convention because I've really only been a fan for a couple years and I live in the US so that is quite difficult, so could anyone tell me at least what they're like? Does Queen (aka Brian and Roger) actually attend these things, or is it just Queen fans and guests?
Anyway, sounds like a good time, too bad I'm not going to be able go anytime soon. :\

I'd imagine the Q&A to be interesting this year after the shambles of the re release of there back catalogue and 'bonus tracks' last year, lol.

If anyone in the USA can't make the UK convention, then why not attend the 'Breakthru' convention in Atlanta in July. You don't have to cross the Atlantic for this one, just fly to another state, depending where you are.
The band don't attend either of the conventions or the various gatherings around the world. It's a convention for fans of Queen to meet up and enjoy everything about the band and not a gig or meet and greet with BM and RT.

You also try to show the same convention-exclusive goodies if you're hosting panels at both of the UK & USA conventions, don't you Gary?
IIRC you showed the music video outtakes from last year's Breakthru at the UK convention too, correct?

Thanks for the info., I didn't know about the Breakthru thing. I guess I'll try to check that out.

Too expensive!
Can somebody please ask Simon Lupton why the Greatest Hits DVDs were so amateurishly authored (i.e. wrong aspect, 4.1 audio etc) and why QP have never really embraced or understood DVD/BD technology.

We hope, if all goes well, to have a special item for sale at this years UK convention, to help Jacky and the Fan Club stay afloat.
