You know... I've got a real problem with KISS.
First off, how many Farewell Tours did they do? Wasn't it 3? Now they're back and they've dug up Motley Crue.
But this VIP Package? Are their fans really that dumb? I recently attended the Journey Meet & Greet for a little over $300 a ticket. It was quite worth it. Sure, Neal was dating that married chick from TV so he was nowhere to be found, but the rest of the band was quite gracious, autographs, photos, the whole lot.
But if you plop down [b]$300 [/b]for a VIP KISS ticket, you get: One reserved ticket located in the first 15 rows of the stage [i]You can scalp one for about $50[/i] Specially Designed KISS Tour Shirt [i]Oooh, a $5 T Shirt[/i] Custom Designed, KISS Ring (18k gold plated, exclusive to ticket packages) [i]Ok, so maybe some $20 piece of junk[/i] Set of Official KISS Guitar Picks (with custom case) [i]4 picks in a nice plastic case. Amazing.[/i] Official VIP Laminate [i]It costs $1 to laminate something similar at Kinkos[/i] Commemorative VIP Ticket [i]A piece of cardstock with some full color print that says I was there[/i] Crowd- free merchandise shopping [i]Because the internet store is busy?[/i] On-site VIP Host [i]Some guy named Joe pointing out the Merchandise table and bragging about the custom KISS Ring???
All this for only $300 !!!!!
