Return Of The Champions Vs Superlive in Japan

At the end, i am the lucky owner of a copy of SL in Japan, the full gig (don't ask me how i get the copy), so i can enjoy the concert.

I think is fantastic, the mix is far superior to RotC, and even musically is better in almost all songs (or maybe is the mix), and the set have Teo Torriate, Fire and Water and IWBTLY, but the atmosphere is far better in Return, the crowd sing every song and the band is more relaxed, and isn't very important,but the light crown is the better in Queen's history.

Well, whats your opinion about those two gigs?

Superlive is pretty easy to get. Even I have a copy and I'm hardly a QPR fan. I agree it's better tha Return of the Champions. better tracklist and performances. Weird and a bit of a (minor) thrill to hear I was born to love you live.

What's so rare about Super Live? I bought it online when it came out. Even some copies of The Cosmos Rocks came with an edited version of it.

Anyhow - yes, it's a far better mix audiowise, and some nice stuff on there; although PR ruins Teo Torriate!

Super Live In Japan Q+PR is not difficult to find and download. If you check web carefully you will find it in full verion.
I downloaded that DVD about two years ago from this site:

I think i'm a very lucky person :)

Maybe i used the wrong words in the first post, but for me, the full version of SL was rare, just saw snippets and some songs with bad quality in youtube, and i know QP released the highlights, but i found more enjoyable the full thing, in my opinion the Last Horizon of that night is the best ever, and Hammer To Fall is better at ''normal'' speed.

the biggest difference between both dvd´s is not the setlist, nor the mix, nor the venue ... take a close look behind the drum kit. In ROTC there´s a long-haired, sweaty, well-fed drummer. In SLIJ there´s Roger Taylor.

Whats the history behind the Chile DVD? Queen release Kharkov, the most spectacular gig of the tour, and with some overdubs they have the perfect release for mainstream audiences, a incredible big crowd and a great performance.

Then, a mysterious Chile DVD appear, with a better peformance and a better setlist, but less comercial... WHY? Is a present from the band to the hardcore fans, someone steal the video mix or...???
