Yeah! I was talking about a things like this, is the type of thing Brian could do! (And according to Freddie is the only one who did it) I read when Brian was young played ''Happy Birthday'' reversed to his teacher, and everybody thought it was a whole new song.

Apparently there is a Queen song where if you listen to it upside down you can hear the studio mouse sing 'is this really what Queen fans are talking about these days ffs'

So in all seriousness am I the only one who has listened to the innuendo album backwards, i used to do this alot when i was younger?

What Freddie meant was that there is no meaning in his songs. It's his "disposable shaver" attitude.

He also said, that Brian has put some meaning in his songs. It's all about lyrics, not about secret backwards messages.

After all, he just didn't want to make a fuzz about his lyrics. There is, of course, meaning in his lyrics. He just didn't care about discussing that.

but YOU DON'T. you are only guessing, and as freddie is not here to coinfirm or refute your claim, you can't back up your claim
so we'll just leave it as a "bandied theory" and nothing more

Brian does use a lot of backmasking guitar. Try the BBC version of "Flick Of The Wrist" - the backwards guitar is simply stunning.

Now I can not speak for Freddie (obviously) but I read this to mean Brian used a lot of backwards stuff in his guitar work.

If that interpretation is correct - then it is true.

Hey, I'm serious. It does say "you're a fag" if you play it backwards. Just do it, you'll be amazed, or you'll have wasted several minutes of your life.
