Is it this band?

If so, then they have another singer, as Craig Pesco is nowhere to be seen on the website.
I saw them a few years back, and I was pretty disappointed. Pesco was pretty good, but the rest of the band was mediocre. The guitarist plugged a Les Paul into a Marshall, the bass player did a solo with Beatles and Stones songs, and the drummer looked like he was falling asleep at times.
Pesco pretended to play piano (it was such an angle that you couldn`t see his hands), and many of the backing vocals were on tape. That said, I met them after the gig and they were very nice guys.

I've heard a lot of complaints about this lot.

Yes Bob, same band, same website. I didn't realize Craig wasn't in the lineup anymore, but he was in the line-up at all the 3 shows I've seen them, so it was probably a recent change.

Just checked their website out further...wow, so Dios Salve a la Reina basically took over the whole QIAKOM name?? How the heck did that happen?

I've posted before about seeing these guys.
My impressions was pretty close to The Real Wizard's.
Pesco was great, Guitarist was good but sounded nothing like Brian May, Bass was OK and Drums were gawdawful.

Yeah the drumming is SO stiff, there is no resemblance whatsoever to RT's style!
At least Gary Mullen's drummer has somewhat of an idea how RT's style SHOULD sound like

Pesco and the guys left the organisation (Showtime) once their contracts ended and went out on their own as Showtime are supposedly a 4 million dollar business yes their band members were getting a crap wage by comparison (Sheffield brothers style, how ironic!) . Showtime recently hired the Argentinian Tribute band (they work for low wage by comoparison , given their local economy) and toured them in Oz, I'd rate them much more highly than Pesco and co though.

You might rate them higher than Pesco & co., but I just found out through some poking around on Facebook that the Oz tour with the new line-up was actually unsuccessful, and punters didn't know what to make of the show and its new line-up - they were actually left wondering what show they were watching, since Showtime were still trying to sell it as the SAME SHOW!
@ Zebonka: When you say there have been a lot of complaints about QIAKOM, was this mostly directed at the line-up BEFORE the members' mid-2010 departure, or the new one installed afterwards?

Ah - yeah the one I used to hear bad word-of-mouth for was Pesco and co. The South American chaps are better, although from what I was told about their last show here, it wasn't outstanding.
