yes,indeed...
well, yeah...but I only read one review in the thread...just asking if some of the people in here have read it - is it worth buying?
Absolutely. This guy has pretty much single-handedly rewritten the history of Queen's beginnings.

Essential reading if you're interested in the 1965-74 era.

Sounds awesome.
Any way the wind blows...
well, the blog did offer some amazing details on the early years...Wizard, I take it the book centers on Roger and his Truro days and gives a picture of the first gigs by Smile/Queen...any good stuff there about Queen? the first bass player(s), the songs, the dynamics, JD?
I have the book. The first half seems to be a roger taylor biography talking about his childhood with quotes from people who knew him and his family growing up. It also talks about other early rock bands that were in that part of England at the time. Then it goes on to talk about the early queen days, including freddie and roger working at the clothing stall and sharing flats with people. Lots of good quotes from people that knew them.
If you are really interested in roger taylor or the early days of queen and freddie, then I would get it. I don't remember it talking a lot about john deacon though. I can't remember.
