True. It is Elton John, one of the few great oldies still alive.
Any way the wind blows...

Lambert = no interest...[/QUOTE]

Just my personal opinion. I don't like his voice and singing at all... So, why should I go there and pay for it?

If Brian and Roger would reunite with Paul Rodgers, I'd be there, in the first row! Because I like Paul Rodgers and the stuff that he did with Brian and Roger.

All this means, is that Lambert's sophomore cd is looking like it's gonna flop

I've truly grown to loathe Roger Taylor. He's such an ass and the weak link in the band. Queen could've replaced him with dozens of other drummers and he wouldn't have been missed. His solo career bombed so now he just wants to dump all over Freddie's memory.
Adam has range but a terrible sound. Range means very little if it doesn't sound good. How he could even compare Adam to Freddie shows what an utter wanker he is. Without Freddie we would have never even heard of Roger "puffer fish" Taylor

I'm not anti-AL. Not my cup of tea but a good performer but HE IS NOT EVEN CLOSE to being in the same league with Freddie Mercury. The sound of FM's voice was simply beautiful. Case in point: "You Take Me Breath Away" & "How Can I Go On?"

guaranteed flop. Won't even go gold. his career has already fizzled out down to a cultish fanbase.

There is no Kiev date on the Elton John tour schedule yet. I wonder what AL's role would be in such a combination - Elton John is a fantastic singer himself, no need to bring AL imo. I would travel far and wide to see BriRog with Elton but I would need a chance to plan it.
I do not want any google ads here.

Why dont they just fuck each other in the ass right on stage??

.. That would probably make a better show than adam lamberts singing. :-)

I guess the "some alternative... for some of the people who had bought tickets" -line means there were no more than a few thousand people interested in the combination?

It COULD be that Boger & Lambert are interested in playing rare songs for the hardcore fans, but it's more likely that even they don't believe in their capability to sell out arenas this time.

The final confirmation comes with the setlist...

Why are so many propel talking about Elton John Being. On stage with Queen. That is not what Roger Taylor has said. He did say we are doing a show with EJ singing.

Queen will appear on the same bill as Elton John, not on stage with him

tero! 48531. The Hammersmth holds over 5000, playing two nights there is the same as playing one night in Wembley arena the difference is better sound and better views. They've made it clear that they aren't doing a full tour.

As far as Adam Lambert goes why don't you give him a try?

It's still only 40% of the Wembley capacity, which means it's a LOT easier to sell out.

I hate to me overly negative (I really do!), but surely they would pick out a bigger arena for the show if they thought they could fill one? It's not like they're known for playing to smaller audiences?

I'd rather see them at the Hammersmith, better sound better view.

I could be wrong, but I don't think they'll play the o2 again. The place is a lifeless shed. In London that leaves Earls Court or Wembley. They didn't like playing Earl Court in 77.

Two night at Hammersmith = just over 10 thousand tickets one night at Wembley arena is only 2000 more. If they were worried about selling 12 thousand tickets would they risk 10 thousand over two nights?
