Freddie Tribute Concert - Video Sources

Exactly which sources are there? known sources: Laserdisc Japan Laserdis EEUU The Freddie Mercury Tribute Concert (10th Anniversary) BBC COMPLETE Transmision Polish Transmission Mexican Tv complete Transmission Source not available, not found : Wanted?? The Freddie Mercury Tribute Concert TELEFE ARGENTINA! (With Interviews and more) COMPLETE! J BADIA CONDUCTION! Channel 2 SPANISH , With Comentaries And More! Another source?

The concert was broadcast in many different countries all around the world. Every country used slightly different editing, backstage footage and even sound mixes.

I think the best broadcast was the original BBC broadcast, also the MTV broadcast and the Dutch Veronica (?) TV broadcasts were great.

Also the concert was officially released on VHS and the American NTSC version was different from the PAL release. The "anniversary" DVD release is just pure garbage

Aired as 'CONCERT FOR LIFE' here in the USA (on FOX, I believe).

Because the USA still sucked so hard when it came to Queen that they didn't even want to use Freddie's own goddamn name in the title of the special.

Ridiculous (yes, I'm still pissed about it).

I recorded the original Dutch broadcast in its entirety.

I remember all the segways were problematic, losing sound and image for example.

I also remember a short documentary aired before the Tribute show about a Dutch fan who was absolutely sure Freddie wrote Live Forever when he knew he had AIDS.. HAHAHA!!!!!!!

That part was brilliant ! Since I don't understand a word in Dutch I had no idea who this crazy guy is, I thought he's some Dutch celebrity :-) So he was just an average fan ? And if I remember correctly didn't the sound got lost during the soundcheck footage ?

The special have : own cameras ,  interviews , etc , is the own transmission of TELEFE , Argentina, conduction by , J Badia!
