i have got a ticket for the Thursday show. I bought it about 4 hours into the pre-sale. i thought they would have all gone by then.
took me a while to think about it. did i want to go, etc.... i hope the setlist is a bit interesting. i am a bit tired of hearing the same songs over and over again.

You know what really pisses me off is, if you go on ebay, there are already people (most likely the Sonisphere "non Queen Fan" crowd) selling tickets on at extortionate marked up prices. They have deprived some genuine Queen fans at getting a ticket at a true cost.
Ticketmasters are a joke, & my god, 160,000 sonisphere ticket holders, what was the point of having an exclusive pre-sale???

Ok firstly im from wales and booked week off for sonisphere and bought tickets, now i have to have the week after off and pretend to be ill as i know work wont change it, if i loose my job its worth it, this could be the last time to see queen live. And secondly sonisphere only sold 2000 tickets so stop thinking 160000 ticket holders for presale lol if they sold that many sonisphere it wouldnt be cancelled lol. And standing is more fun. Sit at home and watch a dvd if ur so old.

Hmmm!!! A patronising Person!!!
For the record I have stood at more concerts than you have ever known, Knebworth 1986 being one of them, Cardiff Q+PR 2008, I was stood up front & I too had tickets for the Sonisphere gig, so I was all prepared for standing. Just when They announced "Hammersmith" I told my young daughter she could go to it, hoping to get seats, so what you are saying, she should, be happy to not see anything because some big 6 footer is stood in front of her. No!! we are going to get there early, to get the best possible place, but the trade off will be a long wait out side the venue, where it might become awkward if she needs the loo.
So get off your high horse, & think about not everyone has the easy life, what you gonna say next, Philip Storey should stop Moaning about the fact he wanted dissabled seating & He should stay at home, hard lines, if he's dissabled, he should watch a dvd!!!

I am happy that we have got tickets for the gig, but would have been better (for my Daughter's sake, not mine!!!) if we could have got seats.

Went straight in at 9am and got row B seats - happy!
Hoping it's not all a letdown. My biggest musical regret in life is not seeing Queen proper in my youth.
This left me with a first brief viewing at the Mandela Birthday concert in 2008, which was great. Followed by their O2 concert that Autumn, which was a *huge* letdown - left me utterly unmoved. And finally, Brian's gig with Kerry Ellis at the Albert Hall a year ago, which was just odd, but with moments of brilliance.
This is my one last chance, and bringing my teenage daughter along for the experience...

lucky enough to have seen Queen twice with fred and pr twice. i won't waste money watching brian and roger pissing on the legacy with this lambert cunt.

Is that really necessary Russian Headlong?
I have to laugh at a lot of you with the Adam Lambert name calling. No, he's definitely not my cup of tea... but a "cunt"? and other names? Trying to figure out why you're all so mad at him. Brian approached him... not vice versa. Does this make Brian May a "cunt" as well? Why the double-standard?
If it's because YOU haven't been on TV, secured a record deal, sexually confused, or have lots and lots of money... then ok.

lambert is not worthy in my opinion. brian and rogers taste since 1992 has had some shockers: 5ive, dappy, the pepsi ads, robbie williams, lambert is the latest. i stand by my view lambert is a cunt (i.e a karaoake/c lebrity) not fit to sing for queens of the stone age let alone queen. jeff scott soto would be better. its just my view.
