Aren't british citizens exempt of visa to US?

Slighty off topic, but I'm planning on going to Brazil for the World Cup in 2012. I heard you need a VISA to travel to Brazil, is this correct?

If you are european (under the [i]Schengen Space[/i]), no, you don't need a visa for tourism purposes to come to Brazil. But if you're american, yes, you need it, as the politics for visa are based on reciprocity and brazilians despite spending billions of dollars in the US, still need a visa to travel in.

I've just readed some info on the US Visa Waiver Program (wich determinates eligible countries for visa-free entry into the United States) and the United Kingdom is, as I thought, on the list. Of course this is only for full british citizens and that's pretty much the case of Brian May. Resulting that if Brian was applying for a visa, it must be for working/economic purposes.
