I'm guessing it'll be a Greatest Hits-based setlist. Here's what I think it could be, in no particular order.

1. Keep Yourself Alive
2. Liar
3. Brighton Rock
4. In The Lap Of The Gods
5. Killer Queen
6. Now I’m Here
7. Seven Seas Of Rye
8. Bohemian Rhapsody
9. I’m In Love With My Car
10. Love Of My Life
11. The Prophet’s Song
12. You’re My Best Friend
13. Somebody To Love
14. Tie Your Mother Down
15. Sheer Heart Attack
16. We Are The Champions
17. We Will Rock You
18. Bicycle Race
19. Don't Stop Me Now
20. Fat Bottomed Girls
21. Let Me Entertain You
22. Crazy Little Thing Called Love
23. Another One Bites The Dust
24. Play The Game
25. Flash
26. Under Pressure
27. Hammer To Fall
28. Radio Ga Ga
29. One Vision
30. A Kind Of Magic
31. Who Wants To Live Forever
32. I Want It All
33. The Miracle
34. Was It All Worth It
35. I'm Going Slightly Mad
36. Innuendo
37. The Show Must Go On
38. These Are The Days Of Our Lives
39. Let Me Live
40. Too Much Love Will Kill You
41. No One But You
42. God Save The Queen

Apparently there are 40 songs in the setlist, so I guess I'd remove Was It All Worth It and The Prophet's Song.

What do you think? (If you think this is a waste of time, or that you hate the Queen Extravaganza, or stating that Roger and Brian have sold themselves out, you may go ahead and say it. I have no control over what you say.)
Any way the wind blows...

I just hope they have sense enough to play Ogre Battle or White Queen.

I'd think it's a safe bet to assume all the songs used in the contest entry's first two stages will make the setlist.

I have a feeling it's the latter.. heh. 40 songs though!? Goodness, maybe there is room for obscurities then

as long as there won't be the usual 20 hits, everything's all right.

but i guess that's only wishful thinking... same old, same old... i can't stand it anymore... the queen-machine...

i'd like to hear stuff from the miracle and innuendo aswell as some of the early rockers. ogre battle and white queen would be fantastic. 'it's late' could work out for a heavy treatment... yummie!

"was it all worth it" would be a killer, but i guess lyricwise that's a topic a young singer can't handle with grace. dammit.

although i might be the only one here in moanzone.com i'm looking forward to hear those concerts, and give this adam-guy a fair chance to prove he's not as dumb as one might think :-)

Brighton Rock, Father to Son and White Queen? I think that's just wishful thinking. Also I doubt they will do In the Lap of the Gods, it's gonna be In the Lap of the Gods ...Revisited, because it's an arena rock anthem.
Their press release just had poor proof-reading when they said In the Lap of the Gods I think.

I hope, for the sake of the audience, that they make for a JSS tour de force like this

I have a feeling the setlist is going to very boring.
My guess is the QPR setlist without the PR tracks, ie.:

Tie Your Mother Down
I Want To Break Free
Fat Bottomed Girls
Crazy Little Thing Called Love
'39
Love Of My Life
Hammer To Fall slow/fast
I'm In Love With My Car
Guitar solo
Last Horizon
These Are The Days Of Our Lives
Radio Ga Ga
A Kind Of Magic
I Want It All
Bohemian Rhapsody
The Show Must Go On
We Will Rock You
We Are The Champions
God Save The Queen

I'd be surprised if they include a guitar solo. fair enough, brighton rock is, to many fans, a key track.

but I suspect many in the audience of a QE show, will be the "joe publics", who wants to hear Radio ga ga instead of a 7 minute guitar solo.
and let's face - in a Queen show - the guitar solo is more of an indulgence than anything else, in the fact that there are several songs which could just as well show of Brian's skill for effects and orchestration.

so with that in mind, I'm guessing brighton rock / any guitar solo spot, will be left of the setlist, in favour of a more traditional Queen song

Brighton Rock has been in the setlist for over 35 years, and people have always wanted to hear something else instead of it.

It wasn't dropped for the "joe publics" on the magic tour, and it will not be dropped from the show of this glorified tribute band.

Brighton Rock would be a great showcase for the two lead guitarists, dueling licks rather than the old echoplex routine.

You know, Queen could do a large melody, (Styx did A 25 song melody featuring a string of song highlights that was excellent) ... and that 'could' be a perfect solution to a vast catalog of music and not a lot of time to perform them all in their entirety. The hardest part is, weaving all the songs highlights (ie;MyFairyKing,Misfire,Nevermoe,theOpera-section,LifeIsReal,DeadOnTime ect..) together to make one 35-40 minute 'Killer Quilt' that covers most of the bands unplayable material.. ..just a idea, please don't kill me

agreed with mr simpson...

probably won't be a 25 song highlight - but likely 5-10 in a batch... or maybe even a runthrough of all the albums- ie. 1 lesser known song per album...

ie.

Tie Your Mother Down
I Want It All
Headlong
Somebody To Love
A Kind Of Magic
Under Pressure
Another One Bites The Dust
I Want To Break Free
Heaven For Everyone
Fat Bottomed Girls
Don't Stop Me Now
Killer Queen
You're My Best Friend
Keep Yourself Alive
Radio Ga Ga
The Miracle
One Vision

Love Of My Life
Say It's Not True (they're bound to throw something from Cosmos - this would be a good time to talk about AIDS...)

Freddie Montage

Liar / March / Now I'm Here / I'm In Love / LoverBoy / Sheer Heart / Bicycle / Dragon Attack / Flash-Hero / Put Out The Fire / Tear It Up / Princes (would be awesome) / Was It All Worth It / Innuendo (heavy bit) / It's a Beautiful Day finale

Bohemian Rhapsody

Seven Seas Of Rhye
Stone Cold Crazy

We Will Rock You
The Show Must Go On
We Are The Champions

Honestly - if they do that - fucking awesome, worth my time.
