This is a fourth source from Queen's last show in France. It is one of the best audience tapes of the Magic tour. Musically it is complete, except for a very short cut at the beginning of I Want To Break Free.

Thanks to Leo for the tapes, kindly supplied by Davide Traversi, head of the Italian Queen fan club "We Will Rock You." The tapes were acquired in September 1986.

It's an excellent show overall, with many great Mercury moments in Dust, Is This The World We Created, BoRhap, and Champions - hitting the high C after flubbing on the piano in the second verse.

All I can say, is that the Bohemian Rhapsody is orgasmic.

Fantastic show overall!

Yessir - it is one of the best. The first verse is just sublime.

Wow, will check this one out this weekend and probably listen to it 2 times in a row. I have the feeling it's one of those shows that hardly gets a mention because of the average (or worse quality) of the recording. That's different now...:-)

Here's a quick summary:

The quality is great, it's complete (with the exception of the slight cut on the I Want To Break Free intro), and there's a fan in the right channel that sings along with the songs (although he makes up lyrics on all the songs)!

The band sound excellent, and Freddie sounds pretty strong (considering it's late in the tour)! The new source brings out many nuances that I couldn't hear on the old source! He sounds like his early 80s voice on the softer songs ("Love Of My Life" and "Is This The World We Created"), and really "goes for it" on some songs. "Another One Bites The Dust" sounds awesome, "Bohemian Rhapsody" is great (especially the first verse), and there's tons of awesome vibrato throughout the show!

All in all, it's a great show, and definitely deserves mentions!
