Another picture dating question

Hello, was wondering if anybody here could help me date a few pictures, and maybe say where they were taken. I found this first one on Queenonline's homepage.

I figured that much out on my own, thank you for the good answer though. :)

My guess is around the time of News of the World, Queen II, and Sheer Heart Attack respectively. If you were looking for more specific information, sorry.

The first pic was taken in promotion for News of the World, so I'm certain about that one. The other two are guesses.

The first photo was probably taken at Basing Street or Wessex Studios.

The second was taken on the UK ANATO tour in 1975.

The third was part of a photo session by Terry O'Neill in 1975.

The first picture was taken by Christopher Hopper, as promotion for News Of The World, so is probably mid-1977.
The second picture is almost certainly from the ANATO tour (note the black drum skin).
The third picture was taken by Terry O'Neill as part of the same photoshoot that produced the Bohemian Rhapsody 7" Single cover photo. Must therefore have been taken before the end of October 1975, but probably not too much earlier.

Do you have any idea what date/venue the second picture is from? Very curious about this

Well it's not from Hammersmith on the 24th Dec, or any of the other 5 dates at Hammy as it's not that stage. It's the encore, probably 'Jailhouse Rock', and would have been a date that was covered by pro photographers. It was not Mick Rock.
Bristol springs to mind as regards to the towns and cities they played that were covered by the press.
If I had to guess I would say it was from one of the main cities like Birmingham or Manchester.

Thanks for the reply Gary, and yeah. Comparing it to other pictures I have seen from Manchester it does look a lot like it could be there.
However, since some other nights lack photos (to my knowledge) it's hard to know exactly. :p

Hi Gary, always loved these images of the band, do you know if more unreleased shoots exist in the vaults from this photo shoot?
