Highlander reboot

well this is happening in Hollywood - with Ryan Reynolds as the potential new "Highlander"...
maybe a first class chance for that O.S.T.? or something new by Dr, May?

If a Highlander film doesn't have "Princes of The Universe", it's not a Highlander film. So I'm pretty positive Queen will be involved, whether it's a new OST or the original one.

it plays over the opening titles following the sean connery voiceover intro...so technically it IS in the soundtrack

What the hell dude.. It was the opening for the first movie, and was NOT in the second movie.. (AKOM was played on a jukebox in the second)
You are now obliged to order it on Amazon and watch it 3 times!!!

Ryan Reynolds is a smug, irritating cunt, I hope they pick someone else.
If I were to pick any song in particular from the original to be used in a remake it would have to be Princess of the Universe. It's a kick ass tune and it goes hand in hand with the film. Maybe, just maybe, it could be a hit this time around? It deserves to be.

100% used in the first movie - it works pretty well through the opening scenes IMO. Don't recall it being played on 2nd movie tbh.

And hell yeah, it definitely deserves to be a hit this time round...quality track :)

Of course it was. it was the opening of the movie, afrer Ramirez' speech. Then u have one year of love, then forever, then hammer to fall, then a snippet of don't lose your head and of course 4 the ending you have that nice version of magic. Greeaaat soundtrack!!!!!!!!! Specially who wants to live forever.

"Highlander" does not need "rebooting" it's a classic, where-as all the "Highlander - sequels" just want plain "booting" into the middle of the road, for a big truck to run over them.

No one cares if it NEEDS rebooting or not, it will be rebooted whether you or anybody else likes it or not. Just like Brian and Roger will continue collaborating with widely disliked pop singers whether people like it or not. That is just how it works.

I agree with the guy above. Put "Delilah" in the opening credits. Guaranteed box office smash!

Definitely, because POTU was 100% the opening credits of the first one(No better way to open the film IMO).

Not so sure about the second one, I only saw it once and that was years ago!
